Emmy Award winner Josh Duhamel stars as Danny McCoy, the protégé of "Sin City's" most respected surveillance guru, Ed Deline (James Caan), in NBC's hit drama "Las Vegas." Born in Minot, North Dakota, Duhamel played football at Minot State University where he was studying biology with the intention of going to dental school. However, the aspiring dentist decided to forgo medical school, and moved to Los Angeles where he began modeling and auditioning for commercials, while studying acting full time.
After a few months, Duhamel landed his first acting job playing the title character in a film re-make of Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray." Shortly after the shoot, he moved to New York City to join the cast of "All My Children," playing a role that garnered him three Daytime Emmy nominations (he won in 2002).
Currently, Duhamel is filming John Stockwell's new thriller "Turistas" in Brazil. He has also starred in the title role in the DreamWorks feature, "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton," directed by Robert Luketic.
